"Dovetail cube" CW
Original design “Dovetail cube” puzzle made from Walnut and Cherry wood. Cube is symmetrical all around with identical sides of smooth, free flowing, organic shapes. Dovetail split is also symmetrical from all sides. Which presents a challenge by itself to determine which way it suppose to slide open. Internal mechanism prevents opening unless you will figure out how to overcome it. When two halves of the cube are unlocked, this toy provides endless enjoyment from fidgeting properties of it, as sliding motion has magnetic soft stops in half open (both ways) and closed positions producing pleasant snap between stops. Handling warm polished wood is pleasant by itself.
